Coloring My Life ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

We never sell your data to third parties. Your original photos are processed and immediately discarded — we do not store them.

1. Who We Are

Coloring My Life is a web and mobile application that converts personal photos into printable coloring pages using AI. The service is available at coloring.rightspot.net.

2. Information We Collect

Account information — your name and email address when you register.
Photos you upload — used solely to generate your coloring page. Your original photo is deleted from our servers immediately after processing. We never store your original photos.
Generated coloring pages — saved to your account history so you can download them again. Stored for up to 90 days, then automatically removed.
Credit and payment records — transaction history (amount, date, type) kept for financial and legal record-keeping.
IP addresses — collected in hashed (non-reversible) form only, used for rate limiting and security purposes. Never stored in plaintext.
Usage data — style choices, age group selections, and generation timestamps to help us operate and improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide the coloring page generation service.
To manage your account and credit balance.
To process payments via Stripe (web) or Google Play (Android app).
To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, account closure).
To send you emails about new offers or changes to our services. You are opted in by default when you create an account and can opt out at any time from your Profile settings.
To prevent fraud and abuse through rate limiting and security monitoring.
To respond to support requests you send via the Contact Us form.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell or rent your information to any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

To deliver the service we share limited data with trusted third parties:

Google Firebase — authentication, database, and file storage. Privacy policy.
Google Gemini AI — AI image processing. Your uploaded photo is sent to Gemini's API and immediately discarded after the coloring page is generated. Privacy policy.
Stripe — payment processing for web purchases. We never see or store your card details. Privacy policy.
Google Play — in-app purchases on Android. Privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

Photos you upload — deleted immediately after your coloring page is generated.
Generated coloring pages — available in your history for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
Account information — retained while your account is active.
Financial records (credit and payment transactions) — retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance, anonymised after account closure.

6. Account Closure and Data Deletion

You can request to close your account at any time from the account menu. When you close your account:

Your account is disabled immediately and you will not be able to sign in.
All personal data (name, email, coloring page history, and storage files) will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Financial transaction records are anonymised (your name and email are removed) but kept for legal compliance.
If you change your mind, contact us within 30 days of closing and we can restore your account.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage (not cookies) to remember your login session and preferences, such as the "Remember me" option. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

8. Children's Privacy

This service is intended for use by adults (18+). Children's photos may be the subject of coloring pages created by their parents or guardians, but children are not the intended account holders. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have rights including:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Deletion — close your account to have your personal data deleted.
Portability — request your data in a portable format.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed IP addresses, Firebase Authentication, rate limiting, and brute-force lockouts. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
